Johnson Dickson
Managing Director & Co-Founder Vision Growth, Impact LTDCo-founder and Managing Director of VGI Ltd, established together with founder Doug Crisman to bring professional business and NGO support services to Tanzania. Johnson brings 15 years of experience across Tanzania's NGO and business environments.
He currently serves as Country Director for an NGO delivering Occupational Therapy services and mobility devices to underserved rural communities in the Lower Moshi area, giving him direct, current experience managing NGO compliance and government relationships from the inside.
He has led numerous implementation projects addressing poverty, poor health, and nutrition across Tanzania and brings authoritative guidance on complex compliance and regulatory requirements as they arise in this engagement.
Doug Crisman
Founder of VGI Ltd & US Strategic Advisor, Performance Works Africa Vision Growth, Impact LTDFounder of VGI Ltd, which he established and funded together with Johnson Dickson to bring professional business and NGO support services to Tanzanian organizations.
Once VGI grew to sustainable, self-sufficient operation, Doug transferred his ownership interest to Johnson and Witness so the organization could be fully Tanzanian-owned and operated — a reflection of his commitment to Tanzania's long-term development rather than personal financial return.
Doug continues as strategic advisor to VGI Ltd and PerformanceWorks Africa, bringing broad international experience in organizational performance, workforce development, and business growth strategy, and serving as the primary bridge between US-based relationships and PWA's on-the-ground implementation in Tanzania.
Witness Makundi
Senior NGO Compliance & Government Relations Advisor Vision Growth, Impact LTDPrincipal of VGI Ltd with 15 years of experience across Tanzania's NGO and business environments.
Witness operation in an NGO industry, giving her direct, current, and practical understanding of Tanzania NGO compliance and government requirements from both sides of the regulatory relationship.
She brings an extensive professional network across government, regulatory bodies, and the NGO sector, and is exceptional in operations, project management, and navigating government processes on behalf of her clients.
